HomeMy WebLinkAboutRESOLUTION - 32-80 - 3/11/1980 - ELK GROVE IND PARK/DRAINAGE DITCHESRESOLUTION NO. 32-80 A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING A GENERAL PURPOSE RIDER TO A MAINTENANCE BOND FOR DRAINAGE DITCHES IN THE ELK GROVE INDUSTRIAL PARK WHEREAS, the developer of Elk Grove Industrial Park has submitted a Maintenance Bond in the amount of $54,000.00 from the United States Fire Insurance Company, which Bond expires on March I, 1980; and WHEREAS, the developer has installed all drainage ditches as required by the Village, and did submit said Bond to insure completion of any remaining work; and WHEREAS, As of March 1, 1980 the remaining work has not yet been completed, therefore,the developer has submitted to the Village a General Purpose Rider, which rider reduces the original amount of $54,000.00 to $20,000.00 and extends the term of said Rider for a Six Month Period expiring on September 1, 1980. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage, Illinois: Section 1. That the President and Board of Trustees do hereby authorize acceptance of the General Purpose Rider to Bond No 610 009265 7, from the United States Fire Insurance Company, insuring completion of the remaining work to be completed within the drainage system at the Elk Grove Industrial Park. Section 2. That this resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and approval according to law. PASSED this 11th day of March 1980. Cech, llage Engineer SUBJECT: Maintenance Bond - Elk Grove Industrial Park Attached please find a General Purpose Rider to Bond No.610-009265-7 for the Drainage Ditches in the Elk Grove Industrial Park, submitted by Trammell Crow Company. This rider will extend the original bond 6 months to September 1, 1980, and at a reduced amount of $20,000. The bond will guarantee the completion of general ditch grading and structure adjustment. Upon satisfactory review by the Village Attorney, I recommend approval by the Village Board (two copies are attached for signature by the Village President.)
