A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING A LETTER OF GUARANTEE FROM NORTHWEST FEDERAL
SAVINGS GUARANTEEING THE CONSTRUCTION OF PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS IN
PHASE I OF THE SHENANDOAH SUBDIVISION LOCATED EAST OF SECTION 22 SOUTH
AND WEST OF SECTION 18
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the President and Board of Trustees
of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage, Illinois:
Section i : That the President and Board of Trustees do hereby autnorize
the acceptance of a Letter of Guarantee from Northwest Federal Savings in the
amount of $96,400.00, guaranteeing the completion of construction of all
public improvements in Phase I of the Shenandoah Subdivision as shown on
Exhibit "A'', attached hereto and made a part hereof as if fully set forth.
Said Letter of Guarantee shall be effective through April 30, 1981.
Section 2: That this resolution shall be in full force and effect from
and after its passage and approval according to law.

We are lenders for the above development. We understand that you
require a guarantee in the amount of $96,400.00 covering items contained
in Exhibit A attached hereto.
We hereby certify to you that we will set aside the above amount for
payment of the above mentioned items.
As work progresses, disbursements will be made on these,items upon
submission of proper waivers by the contractors, approved by North
West Federal's inspectors and the Village engineer.
In the event the improvements are not completed by April 30, 1981,
we will, at your demand, release said funds to you for the purpose
of completing the aforementioned work. The amounts to be released
pursuant to the.above provisions are specified on the attached
Exhibit A.
