A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING A ONE YEAR INTERIM MAINTENANCE BOND NO. 220o58o
FROM NATIONAL -BEN FRANKLIN INSURANCE COMPANY OF ILLINOIS IN THE AMOUNT
OF $21,100.00 FOR THE COMPLETED ON -SITE SANITARY SEWER, STORM SEWER
AND WATERMAINS AT THE SHENANDOAH (LANCER) SUBDIVISION
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the President and Board of Trustees of
the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage, State of Illinois:
Section 1: That the President and Board of Trustees do hereby authorize
acceptance and placing on file of an interim Maintenance Bond No. 2200580 in
the amount of $21,100.00, expiring April 11, 1981, from National -Ben Franklin
Insurance Company of Illinois, guaranteeing the maintenance for one year of the
completed on-site sanitary sewer, storm sewer and watermains at the Shenandoah
(Lancer) Subdivision Phase 1. As shown on Engineering Plans No. 6859 dated
June 16, 1978, and as revised, prepared by Elk Grove Engineering Company.
Section 2: That this resolution shall be in full force and effect from
and after its passage and approval according to law.

the hereinafter called the Principal
and National -Ben Franklin Insurance Company of Illinois

Whereas, the principal Scully, Hunter & Scully, Inc. has constructed Storm Sewers,
Sanitary Sewers, Watermains and Underground Improvements for the Shenandoah
Subdivision, Phase I, Elk Grove, Il per Engineering Plans No. 6859 dated
June 16, 1978, and as revised, prepared by Elk Grove Engineering Company,
Elk Grove, IL
Whereas, said Obligee requires that the Principal shall furnish a bond conditioned to
guarantee against all defects, workmenship and materials during a period of one (1)
year from the effective date of this bond.
NOW, THEREFORE, the condition of the foregoing obligation is such that if the Principal
shall indemnify the Obligee for all loss that the Obligee may sustain by reason of the
Principal's failure to comply with any of the conditions of this guarantee, then this
obligation shall be void; otherwise it shall remain in force.
