A RESOLUTION AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 13-80, WHICH RESOLUTION AUTHORIZED
THE ADOPTION OF THE ''PERSONNEL RULES OF THE VILLAGE OF ELK GROVE VILLAGE"
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED By the President and Board of Trustees of
the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage, State of Illinois:
Section 1 , That Resolution No. 13-80 authorizing the adoption of the
Personnel Rules of the Village of Elk Grove Village be amended by adding the
following to Section 8.9 , entitled, Sick Leave, to read as follows:
Section 8.9 Sick Leave: The paid sick leave benefit will not be
provided for employees who become sick, injured or disabled as a
direct result of outside employment. For purposes of this section,
outside employment shall be defined in Section 9.2 of these Rules
and Regulations.
Section 2. That this resolution shall be in full force and effect from
and after its passage and approval according to law.
