A RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING ADDITIONAL COMPENSA-
TION FOR FIREFIGHTERS WHO HAVE ATTAINED THE
STATUS OF CERTIFIED PARAMEDICS
BE IT RESOLVED, by the President and Board of Trustees
of the Village of Elk Grove Village , Counties of Cook and DuPage,
Illinois , as follows :
Section 1: That any firefighter of the Village of Elk
Grove Village who has successfully completed paramedic training
and has received paramedic certification from the Department
of Health of the State of Illinois shall receive, as additional
compensation, the sum of One Hundred Dollars ($100 . 00) per month.
Each firefighter so certified shall be entitled to said addi-
tional compensation while an active member in good standing with
the Elk Grove Village Fire Department as long as said certi-
fication remains in full force and effect.
Section 2 : That this Resolution shall be in full force
and effect from and after its passage and approval according -
to law.
