AN ORDINANCE ABATING A PORTION OF THE 2025 PROPERTY TAXES LEVIED
FOR CERTAIN TAXABLE GENERAL OBLIGATION BONDS, SERIES 2017, OF THE
VILLAGE OF ELK GROVE VILLAGE, ILLINOIS
BE IT ORDAINED by the Mayor and Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove
Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage, Illinois as follows:
Section 1: That the County Clerks of Cook and DuPage Counties, are hereby authorized
and directed to abate four million, one hundred seventy-one thousand, seven hundred dollars and
no cents ($4,171,700.00) from the taxes levied for 2025 in Ordinance No. 3510, duly passed and
approved on August 15, 2017, which Ordinance provided for the issuance of sixty million dollars
and no cents ($60,000,000.00) in Taxable General Obligation Bonds, Series 2017, of the Village
of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage, Illinois.
Section 2: That the Village Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to file a certified
copy of this Ordinance with the County Clerks of Cook and DuPage, Counties, Illinois prior to
December 31, 2025.
Section 3: That the Village Clerk is hereby authorized to publish this Ordinance in
pamphlet form.
Section 4: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage,
approval and publication according to law.
