A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE DEPOSIT OF CERTAIN PUBLIC RECORDS OF THE
VILLAGE OF ELK GROVE VILLAGE WITH THE GOVERNMENT INFORMATION CENTER OF
THE NORTHWEST MUNICIPAL CONFERENCE
WHEREAS, there has been in the past a demonstrated need for comparative
information from other municipalities in considering certain types of decisions;
and
WHEREAS, the general public from time to time seeks to obtain similar types
of comparative information concerning municipal operation; and
WHEREAS, the Government Information Center of the Northwest Municipal Conference
also has been established to collect and catalog such municipal information; and
WHEREAS, there is a constant need for updating such information sources within
the library in order to provide the latest and most effective reference services to
the libraries, public officials and general public of this area.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the President and Board of Trustees of the
Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage, State of Illinois, that
the Village Clerk is directed to deposit with the staff of the Government Information
Center a copy of all ordinances and resolutions which may be of interest and use to
the Northwest Municipal Conference.
