RESOLUTION NO. 69-78 mont Bicycle Bridge
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE VILLAGE OF ELK GROVE VILLAGE
AND THE ELK GROVE PARK DISTRICT TO SIGN A APPLICATION
REGARDING A BICYCLE BRIDGE OVER SALT CREEK.
WHEREAS, the Village of Elk Grove Village, Illinois, and the Elk Grove
Park District are interested in developing land as described in the application
for public outdoor recreation purposes.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Village of Elk Grove Village,
Illinois, upon being advised that funding has been authorized for the subject
project will consider to budget $ 7/5,828.0ao complete the project.
Section I . The Village of Elk Grove Village hereby authorizes Charles
A. Willis, Village Manager, to act on behalf of the Village of Elk Grove Village,
Illinois, to file an application with the Department of Conservation, State of
Illinois, and to provide all information and documentation required in said
application.
BE IT FURTHER PROVIDED that the Village of Elk Grove Village, Illinois ,
will comply with the Uniform Relocation and Real Property Assistance Act (PL91-
646) ; will comply with Title VI of Civil Rights Act of 1964 (PL 83-352) ; will
comply with all applicable State and Federal regulations; will maintain the
completed project in an attractive, inviting and safe manner; keep the facilities
open to the general public during reasonable hours consistent with the type of
the facility; and will obtain from the State of Illinois, Department of
Conservation, approval in writing for any change or conversion of the planned
outdoor recreation use of the project site, and that such approval will be
received prior to the usage change.
BE IT FURTHER PROVIDED that the Village of Elk Grove Village, Illinois,
cetifies that the data provided within the attached application is true and
correct to the best of the below signifier' s knowledge.
Section 2. That this resolution shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage approval according to law.
