AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 3-3-B-3 OF THE ZONING ORDINANCE
REGARDING FENCE STANDARDS
WHEREAS, the Plan Commission of the Village of Elk Grove Village, at a public
hearing duly held, considered amending Section 3-3-B-3 Fence Standards Permitted in all
Residential Districts of the Zoning Ordinance by adding "Major Expressways or potions thereof'
to the list of roadway classifications where eight -foot (8') fences are permitted along street side
property lines; and
WHEREAS, the Mayor and Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, after
having reviewed the findings and recommendations of the Plan Commission, find and believe it
is in the best interest of the Village to grant the variation of the Zoning Ordinance as
recommended.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Mayor and Board of Trustees of the
Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage, Illinois as follows:
Section 1: That pursuant to Public Hearing and recommendation and finding of the Plan
Commission, the Village hereby amends Section 3-3-13-3 Fence Standards Permitted in all
Residential Districts of the Zoning Ordinance by adding "Major Expressways or potions thereof'
to the list of roadway classifications where eight -foot (8') fences are permitted along street side
property lines in the Village of Elk Grove Village
form.
Section 2: That the Village Clerk is authorized to publish this ordinance in pamphlet
Section 3: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its
passage, approval, and publication in pamphlet from according to law.
