A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE VILLAGE
PRESIDENT AND THE VILLAGE CLERK TO
EXECUTE A CONTRACT WITH CONSOLIDATED
COMMUNITY SCHOOL DISTRICT 59, THEREBY
APPROVING AN EXPENDITURE OF FIFTEEN
HUNDRED DOLLARS ($1,500.00)
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the President and Board of
Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and
Du Page, Illinois, as follows:
Section 1: That the Village President and Village Clerk are
hereby authorized to execute a contract with Consolidated School
District 59, a copy of said contract being attached hereto and
incorporated herein, which contract provides for the expenditure of
FIFTEEN HUNDRED DOLLARS ($1,500.00) for a pilot open door program
at Clearmont School.
Section 2: That this Resolution shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage and approval according to law.

AGREEMENT FOR OPEN DOOR
PROGRAM - CLEARMONT SCHOOL
THIS AGREEMENT is entered into on this 8th_ day of March ,
1977, by and between the Village of Elk Grove Village and the
Community Consolidated School District 59.
W I T N E S S E T H:
WHEREAS, the purpose of this pilot program is to demonstrate a
model of delivering quality supervision and child growth experience
during after-school hours at Clearmont School, 280 Clearmont Drive,
Elk Grove Village, Illinois; and
WHEREAS, a Task Force has planned for general policy and the
Clearmont School principal will administer the program; and
WHEREAS, the program will be available to kindergarten through
fifth grade children; and
WHEREAS, children must be within walking distance of the school
because no transportation provisions are being made;
IT IS HEREBY AGREED AS FOLLOWS:
1). The program is to run from March 14, 1977 through the end
of the school year, June /-.4, 1977.
2). The Village of Elk Grove Village through its Community
Service Board will continue in an ongoing evaluation of the program
along with other members of the Task Force.
3). The program will meet the State of Illinois Department of
Children and Family Services minimum standards for child care.
4). School District 59 will administer the funding of the
program in a special account for this purpose.
5). The Village of Elk Grove Village will furnish up to FIFTEEN
HUNDRED DOLLARS ($1,500.00), as budgeted.
6). Any unspent amount deposited by the Village will be returned
to the Village promptly at the finish of the program.
7). Community Consolidated School District 59 agrees that liability
insurance covers this activity and holds the Village of Elk Grove
Village harmless for any and all liability which may occur.
8). That School District 59 will require participating families
to provide transportation home at the end of each day.
9). That all funds provided by the Village will be used solely
for the Open Door Program at Clearmont School, Elk Grove Village.
10). That this Agreement does not obligate Elk Grove Village to
provide additional funds after the termination of this pilot program.
WHEREFORE, the parties hereto set their hands and seals this
