FEE SCHEDULES
Section 1: PLAN REVIEW
Preliminary Plan Review services shall be performed for a fee
not to be in excess of one half of the established fee normally
charged for full and final plan review and approval. Any fees
paid for said preliminary review shall not be credited toward
the cost for final plan review work.
A Plan Review for each set of plans for single family
residence - . . . . . $30.00
A Plan Review for each set of plans for single family
residence for alteration, remodeling or detached
structure - . . . . . $10.00
The applicant for a building permit for any other type of
construction shall pay the following fees when making
application for the purpose of deferring Village expense,
in examining and reviewing plans and specifications:
NOTE: For the purpose of clarifying the following schedule -
BASIC BUILDING CODE - is referred to as BBC
BASIC PLUMBING CODE - is referred to as BPC
BASIC MECHANICAL CODE - is referred to as BMC

The fee for a Plan Review is based on the volume of the building (see
Section 119.0 of the Basic Building Code) as follows:

*Building code review fees for Assembly and Institutional Uses and
Mercantile Covered Malls (over 40,000 ft.3) shall be 1.5 times the
indicated base fee.
Multiple Building Code Review Fee by 1.5 when Mechanical and Plumbing
Code Review is required.
A Preliminary Plan Review fee shall be 0.50 times the building code
review fee.

The MINIMUM fee for reviewing plans for minor interior alterations and re-
modeling for other than single family residences shall not be less than . . . $10.00
Any additional and exceptional expenses incurred by the Village for Plan
Review NOT covered by the above fees shall be paid by the applicant.
Section 2: BUILDING PERMIT FEES
Industrial and Commercial -

Permit fees - Every applicant before being granted an
original permit hereunder shall pay to the Village the
following permit fee for each sign structure:
1. Non -illuminated signs - $15.00 plus $.15 per square
foot of sign surface area of the proposed sign
2. Illuminated signs - $25.00 plus $.15 per square
foot of sign surface area of the proposed sign.

including all -circuits, fixtures, receptacles and

C. For the inspection of a 30 ampere fixed lighting circuit,
the inspection fee is double the amount of a 15 or 20
ampere circuit fee.
D. Motors and other forms of Power consuming devices. For
the inspection of each electrical motor or Power consuming
device other than lighting fixtures, the inspection fee
shall be as follows:
One motor or Power consuming device $5.00
For each additional motor or Power
consuming device 1.50 each
This fee is to be applied to all motors over a horsepower.
Motors of , horsepower or less are to be charged on
equivalent incandescent lamp basin.
E. Fixtures, Sockets and Receptacles on existing circuits
(Lamps of 50 watts) (Not including circuit wiring).

lamps or fraction thereof.
F. Service entrances -- S10.00
G, Piinimum Ins ection Fee. Pio inspection shall be made for
a ess amount than $10.00. All fees herein provided shall
be paid to the Village before a permit is issued.

H. Whenever extra inspections are required due to inaccurate
or incorrect information, a charge of five ($5.00) dollars
per hour shall be made by the Electrical Inspection Depart-
ment for the time consumed in making extra inspections.
I. ALL PERMIT FEES EXCEPT PERIODIC PERMIT FEES will be paid
in advance to the Village.
Plumbino Fees
The fees for plumbing permit shall be five dollars ($5.00)
for each plumbing fixture including plumbing system, bathtub,
lavatories, closets, sinks, laundry tubs, drinking fountains,
shower receptacles, urinals, soda fountains, and traps shall
be considered fixtures.
Mechanical Fees
$10.00 for each heating plant or unit
$10.00 for each cooling unit (air conditioning)

Construction Water
Minimum $5.00 or $1.00 per each 1,000 sq.ft, of building
Renew Building Permit
$5.00 for six month renewal.

Storage Tanks

1. $2.00 for tanks up to 1000 gallons
2. $.50 for each 1000 gallons thereafter
B. Tanks capable of containing flammable liquid
flash point 140 degrees Fahrenheit or less
1. $10.00 for first 375 gallons
2. from 376 gallons and up -
$10.00 plus $.0075 per gallon
Fire Protection Systems
A. Fire Suppression Systems
$25.00 for first 100 heads
5.00 for every 100 additional heads
or fraction thereof
B. Standpipes
$10.00 for first standpipe
5.00 for every additional standpipe
C. Fire Pumps - $30.00 for any size pump
D. Fire Alarm System (manual or automatic)
$30.00 for any size system
E. Partial Fire Protection Equipment Installation
$25.00 for each system

Elevator Inspections
The fees for the inspection of mechanical and electrical
safety devices for passenger and freight elevators, man -
lifts, moving stairs and dumbwaiters shall be $30.00 per
inspection.
The required number of inspections shall be as indicated
in the B.O.C.A. Basic Building Code 1975 Edition, Section
1602.
Section 3:
That the Village President and Village Clerk are hereby
authorized to siGn said fee schedule for and in the name
of the Villane and attach thereto the corporate seal.
Section 4:
That this resolution shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage and approval according to law.
