HomeMy WebLinkAboutRESOLUTION - 24-77 - 4/12/1977 - SURETY BONDS/PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTSRESOLUTION NO. 24-77 A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING AND PLACING ON FILE SIX (6) SURETY BONDS FROM INTERNATIONAL FIDELITY INSURANCE COMPANY, BOND NUMBERS CP 17977 THROUGH CP17982 IN A TOTAL AMOUNT OF $295,081.00, FILED WITH THE VILLAGE OF ELIC GROVE VILLAGE TO GUARANTEE THE CONSTRUCTION OF PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS ON LOTS 1 THROUGH 11 INCLUSIVE, IN THE ROUNDTREE COMMONS TOWNHOUSE DEVELOP- MENT ON THE WEST SIDE OF HOME AVENUE NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage, State of Illinois: Section 1. That the Village President and Board of Trustees do hereby authorize the acceptance and placing on file of six (6) Surety Bonds from International Fidelity Insurance Company to guarantee the construction of public improvements on Lots 1 through 11 inclusive, all on the west side of Home Avenue in the Roundtree Commons Townhouse development: Bond No. CP17977 in the amount of S2,930.00,conditioned upon the installation of street lighting; Bond No. CP17978 in the amount of $59,473.00, conditioned upon the installation of public streets and walks; Bond No. CP17979 in the amount of $67,473.00 conditioned upon the installation of interior streets and walks; Bond NoCP17980 in the amount of $29,550.00 conditioned upon the installation of sanitary sewers; Bond No.CP17981in the amount of $84,141.00 conditioned upon the installation of water mains; Bond No. CP17982 in the amount of $51,514.00 conditioned upon the installation of storm sewers; all as shown on the plans and specifications prepared by Westad Engineering and containing sheets I through 8 inclusive dated August 1, 1976 with revisions up to and including March 14,1977 and known as Job No. 76-14.
