A RESOLUTION CANVASSING THE VOTES AT THE REGULAR ELECTION OF
VILLAGE OFFICIALS HELD APRIL 19, 1977 AND DECLARING THE RESULTS
THEREOF
WHEREAS, a regular election was held in and for the Village of Elk
Grove Village, Counties, of Cook and DuPage, Illinois on Tuesday, April 19,
1977 for the purpose of electing a Village President (4 year term),'three
Village Trustees (each for a 4 year term), a Village Clerk (4 year term) and
three Library Directors (2 for a term of 6 years and I for a term of two
years): and
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees conducted a canvass by
examining the official tally sheets and returns of the various judges in
the various precincts as to the votes cast at said election and are ready
to report:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the President and Board of Trustees
of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Cook and DuPage Counties, Illinois, as
follows:
Section 1. That said election was duly held as provided by law.
Section 2. That a total of 1444 votes were cast in the following
manner:
For the office of Village President:
Charles J. Zettek, Jr.
For the office of Village Trustee:
Theodore J. Staddler
John F. Landers
Lee D. Garr
James P. Petri
Nancy L. Vanderweel
For the Office of Village Clerk:
Eleanor G. Turner
Section 3. That a total of 1356

of Library Director in the following manner:

Section 4. That Charles J. Zettek, Jr. received the highest number of
votes for the office of Village President and is hereby declared elected to
the office of Village President of Elk Grove Village for a term of four (4)
years
Section 5. That Theodore J. Staddler, Lee D. Garr, and Nancy L. Vanderweel
received the highest number of votes for the office of Village Trustee and they
are hereby declared elected to the office of Village Trustee of the Village of
Elk Grove Village for a term of four (4) years each.
Section 6. That Eleanor G. Turner received the highest number of votes
for the office of Village Clerk and she is hereby declared elected to the office
of Village Clerk of the Village of Elk Grove Village for a term of four (4) years.
Section 7. That Kathryn Mary Fleming and Robert F. Fleming received the
highest number of votes for the office of Library Director (6 year term) and
they are hereby declared elected to the office of Library Director of the Village
of Elk Grove Village for a term of six (6) years each.
Section 8. That Ronald W. Satzke received the highest number of votes for
the office of Library Director (2 year term) and is hereby declared elected to
the office of Library Director of the Village of Elk Grove Village for a term
of two (2) years.
Section 9. That this resolution shall be in full force and effect from
and after its passage and approval according to law.
