Pursuant to a duly made and approved motion and a majority vote at a regularly scheduled meeting
of the Mayor and Board of Trustees on FebruM 13, 2024, this Executive Session was called to
consider review of Land Acquisition.

The Mayor shared that the Village has secured a deal to acquire the Heavenly Bodies, Burger
King, and Marathon Gas Station properties for $6,232,020. The Heavenly Bodies property is
currently unincorporated. The Mayor shared that this information is highly confidential and that
the closing is most likely going to take place on March 29. The acquisition would appear on the
March 26 Village Board Agenda.
The Consensus of the Board was to authorize the purchase of the Heavenly Bodies, Burger King,
and Marathon Gas Station properties for $6,232,020.
The meeting was adjourned at 6:32 pm.
