The Mayor shared renderings of a potential Road Ranger fueling station that Mario Gullo is
proposing at the corner of Higgins and Landmeier near 2300 E Higgins, which is a property that
the Village currently owns. The Mayor explained that Road Ranger fueling station is a good
option for the industrial area and there may be food chain options that go inside the gas station as
well. The Mayor shared that the gas station would generate an estimated $25-30 million in
annual sales which would add up to about $500,000-600,000 in revenue to the Village, in
addition to gaming revenue.
The consensus of the Board was to continue pursuing the Road Ranger fueling station and selling
the 2300 E. Higgins property for this purpose.
The meeting was adjourned at 6:45 pm.
