KNICKERBOCKER Village Attorney Pursuant to a duly made and approved motion and a majority vote at a regularly scheduled meeting of the Mayor and Board of Trustees on FebruM 13 2024, this Executive Session was called to consider review of Personnel. Number of pages attached: Date(s) of review for release: Date of approval for release Date approved by Village Board: 1 February 2025 May 12, 2026 December 17, 2024 February 13, 2024 6:45 pm The Village Manager shared that the Finance Department is interviewing for the Risk Coordinator position and that the current temp will likely be offered the position. There is also another good candidate who works part-time in another community but is looking for full-time work. The Village's former Risk Coordinator position split their time between the Finance and Human Resources Department, and with the new Risk Coordinator being full-time in the Finance Department, it is likely that a full-time position will be needed in the Human Resources Department. The analysis of HR operations is ongoing, but staff doesn't want to miss out on a good candidate and it is expected the study will show that HR is currently understaffed. The Village Manager requested approval to bring this candidate for an interview for a potential Human Resources Coordinator position, which would be at the same level as the Payroll Coordinator and Risk Coordinator positions in Finance, to assist with the day to day operations and alleviate work load for the existing staff. The Consensus of the Board was to move forward with interviewing the candidate, and the creation of a new position if it seems like a good fit. The meeting was adjourned at 6:47 pm.
