Trustee Franke moved to enter into Executive Session, seconded by Trustee Schmidt. The
motion passed unanimously.

Pursuant to a duly made and approved motion and a majority vote at a regularly scheduled meeting
of the Mayor and Board of Trustees on February 27, 2024, this Executive Session was called to
consider review of Land Acquisition.

Trustee Schmidt asked about the Village's liability for the poor shape of the property at 25
Turner Avenue now that the Village has walked away from the deal. Attorney Storino advised
that the Village should be fair in implementing the Village's ordinance although the property
owner is responsible for the condition and repairs of the property.
The Mayor advised the Village is working on a presentation for the owner of the property and
that the deal may still take place as discussions with the tenants continue to change.
The meeting was adjourned at 4:07 pm.
