of the Mayor and Board of Trustees on February 27, 2024, this Executive Session was called to
consider review of Personnel.

Acting Fire Chief/Deputy Fire Chief Nathan Gac has accepted a position at Lombard as the
Deputy Chief with a succession plan to potentially take over as Chief within the next year.
Nathan will be announcing this to staff tomorrow afternoon and his last day at the Village will be
on April 12, 2024.
Fire Chief Rich Mikel has not yet made a decision as to how to handle the vacant Deputy Chief
position following Nathan's departure.
The meeting was adjourned at 5:38 pm.
