Pursuant to a duly made and approved motion and a majority vote at a regularly scheduled meeting
of the Mayor and Board of Trustees on March 12, 2024, this Executive Session was called to
consider review of Litigation.

The Mayor shared that the Village received a copy of the Memorandum of Understanding
between the FAA and the CDA stating that the FAA is assigning the environmental review of the
proposed Fly Quiet runway rotation program to the Chicago Department of Aviation. The FAA
assignment of this review to the CDA, given their specific interest in advancing only one
alternative is questionable.
Attorney Andrew Barr is reviewing the MOU further with his team. The Mayor stated that a
lawsuit is an option and that he has a conference call scheduled with the attorney to discuss the
best path forward later this week.
The meeting was adjourned at 3:52 pm.
