PARTICIPATION IN JOINT PURCHASING AGREEMENTS

purchahe peuonae pAopeAty, 5uppZie6 and seAv.iee6 jo.intey with othea
govehnmentae units; and
WHEREAS, the V.iUage o6 EQk GAove Village a aoveAnmentae unit as
deb.ined .in .the Ik_?.i.no.is Revized Statutes; and
WHEREAS, atrangement6 have been made by the No)thwut Mun,ici.pa2

Chicago and/on otheA membeu o4 .the NoAthwest Munic%pae Conte ence; and
WHEREAS, the Vi Cage ob Etk GAove Village may bind ,it economicae to
purchase goods on seAv,ices at prices obtained through competitive bidding
by the City o6 Chicago oA through negotiations and/on investigations by
.the NoAthweht Municipae ConbeAenee;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Village os Eik Grove ViU-age
that the Finance D.iAeetwL is hereby authorized to enteA into agAeement6
on behae{t o6 this mun.icipatity bon joint purcha6.ing with authoA,ized units
o{ goveAnment undeA the Law, .inceuding the City ob Chicago, County o�
Cook and otheA municipalities in the NOAthwest Municipat Conbenenee.
