Pursuant to a duly made and approved motion and a majority vote at a regularly scheduled meeting
of the Mayor and Board of Trustees on May 14, 2024, this Executive Session was called to consider
review of Land Disposition.

The Village -owned property at Ridge and Devon may potentially sell as a group with the
adjacent landscaper property and truck parking lot owned by the VFW. The landscaper is
willing to sell for $2 million, and as they are the middle property, they have the most leverage.
The total estimated sale price is approximately $3.5 million, and Mayor Johnson advised that the
remaining funds should be split with $900,000 going to the VFW and $600,000 to the Village.
The VFW has been made aware of the potential sale and looks forward to the sale of the land.
The land would be sold for development, and truck parking would no longer be permitted.
The meeting was adjourned at 6:30 pm.
