Pursuant to a duly made and approved motion and a majority vote at a regularly scheduled meeting
of the Mayor and Board of Trustees on May 14, 2024, this Executive Session was called to consider
review of Personnel.

Plan Commission Chairman John Glass passed away on May 7, 2024. The Mayor shared that a
new Chairman will need to be appointed for the Plan Commission.
Fred Geinosky has served on the Plan Commission for 45 years, and Kitty Weiner and Scott
Carlson also have experience with running meetings and experience on the Plan Commission.
The Board discussed the potential options for the next Chairman of the Plan Commission, which
member of the Zoning Board to move up to the Plan Commission and who to appoint as a new
ZBA member. Village staff suggested possibly considering Rich Romanski from the ZBA to
move to the Plan Commission. The Mayor also noted that Mrs. Suyapa Garcia, who comes to
Coffee with the Board and other public meetings, may be interested in getting involved on the
ZBA. Mayor Johnson advised he would make some inquiries and get back to the Board on these
appointments.
