of the Mayor and Board of Trustees on June 18, 2024, this Executive Session was called to consider
review of Personnel.

There were three Commanders that applied for the Deputy Police Chief opening. Commander
Sheara Garrison, Sean Berens, and Bill Callaghan interviewed for the position.
Commander Sheara Garrison will be promoted to fill the Deputy Chief position following the
retirement of Chris Torres.
The other opening for the Deputy Chief position may be filled with a former Buffalo Grove
Deputy Chief who is now a DuPage Forest Preserve Chief.
The meeting was adjourned at 5:52 pm.
