6. CONSENT AGENDA
j. Consideration of a request from VFW Post 9284 to approve an exterior signage package
for a meeting hall facility at 960 Elk Grove Town Center.
(B-5 Town Center Shopping District authorizes the Mayor and Board of Trustees to review
and approve sign permit applications and conditional uses not specifically identified in the
land use table of the Zoning Code.
(VFW Post 9284 is relocating from their current facility within the Village and intends to
utilize this space for a meeting hall for war veterans.
(As part of their proposed relocation, VFW Post 9284 submitted a sign package consisting
of one (1) new permanent wall sign and two (2) identification logos.
(The building signage will total approximately twenty-nine (29) square feet in area, which
meets the allowable area permitted by the Village's sign regulations.
(The Director of Community Development recommends approval.)
k. Consideration to adopt Resolution No. 47-26 authorizing the execution of an extension of
the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the Village of Elk Grove Village and the
International Union of Operating Engineers, Local 150.
(Adoption of this Resolution authorizes the execution of an extension of the Collective
Bargaining Agreement between the Village of Elk Grove Village and the International
Union of Operating Engineers, Local 150.
(A copy of the agreement will be made available prior to the start of the Village Board
meeting.)

A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF THE EXTENSION TO
THE COLLECTIVE BARGAINING AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE VILLAGE OF
ELK GROVE VILLAGE AND THE INTERNATIONAL UNION OF OPERATING
ENGINEERS, LOCAL 150
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Board of Trustees of the
Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage, State of Illinois:
Section 1: That the Mayor and Village Manager be and is hereby authorized to sign the
attached document marked:
EXTENSION TO THE COLLECTIVE BARGAINING AGREEMENT
BETWEEN THE VILLAGE OF ELK GROVE VILLAGE
AND THE
INTERNATIONAL UNION OF OPERATING ENGINEERS, LOCAL 150
a copy of which is attached hereto and made a part hereof as if fully set forth and the Village
Clerk is authorized to attest said document upon the signature of the Mayor and Village
Manager.
Section 2: That this Resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage
and approval according to law.
