Pursuant to a duly made and approved motion and a majority vote at a regularly scheduled meeting
of the Mayor and Board of Trustees on August 13, 2024, this Executive Session was called to
consider review of Litigation.

There are two attorneys that will be representing the Village in the lawsuit involving the Police
Officer involved shooting from December 1, 2023.
Attorney Sean Sullivan with Del Galdo Law Group and Michael Kasper with Kasper & Nottage
PC will represent the Village in the lawsuit involving the Police Officer shooting on December 1,
2023. One attorney will represent the officers that did shoot and one attorney will represent those
that did not.
The Board asked how the attorneys representing the Village feel about the case. The Village
Attorney explained that they feel the depositions and discovery will show the Police Department
taking the necessary actions and steps.
The Mayor mentioned that there is no plan to settle this lawsuit.
The meeting was adjourned at 6:12 pm.
