Pursuant to a duly made and approved motion and a majority vote at a regularly scheduled meeting
of the Mayor and Board of Trustees on September 10, 2024, this Executive Session was called to
consider review of Land Disposition.

Mayor Johnson shared that the rent pricing from Mario Gullo at the vacant Sears property was
too high for the VFW. The owners of the former Dominick's site wanted $4 million for their
property from the Village, which far exceeded the Board authorization of up to $2.5 Million. The
Village is no longer pursuing this property. Mayor Johnson advised that the VFW would stay in
their current location, and the industrial developer could just acquire the truck parking portion of
the VFW site, along with the Village's property and the landscaper property for their
development and the VFW will remain where it is.
The meeting was adjourned at 6:12 pm.
