Pursuant to a duly made and approved motion and a majority vote at a regularly scheduled meeting
of the Mayor and Board of Trustees on November 19 2024, this Executive Session was called to
consider review of Land Acquisition.

The property at 1650 Howard is vacant and available for sale. This property would provide more
functionality for the Village than the property at 1201 Busse, which could then be sold. It is
larger and has more open space. The Village offered $5.25 million, they countered at $5.75
million, and will likely be able to finalize for $5.5 million. The consensus of the Board was to
authorize up to $5.5 million for the purchase of this property.
