A RESOLUTION INSTITUTING A WATER CONSERVATION PROGRAM
WHEREAS, the Village of Elk Grove Village has experienced water
shortages; and
WHEREAS, it is highly desirable to efficiently use water; and
WHEREAS, the restaurants within the Village of Elk Grove Village,
in cooperation with the Village can limit the unnecessary use of water.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the President and Board of Trustees
of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage, Illinois,
that the Village institute a program that would recommend to all restaurants
that they curtail issuance of drinking water to all customers, except upon
request by the customer.
Section 1. That this resolution shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage and approval according to law.
