A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING SETTLEMENT OF PARKING AND VEHICLE CITATIONS
BEFORE THE THIRD MUNICIPAL DISTRICT 'OF THE CIRCUIT COURT OF COOK COUNTY
WHEREAS, the Third Municipal District of the Circuit Court of Cook County
has developed procedures in parking and vehicle license violation cases; and
WHEREAS, the Third Municipal District of the Circuit_Court of Cook County
has requested the Village of Elk Grove Village to participate in standardization
of the adjudication process for parking and vehicle license violations; and
WHEREAS, the Third Municipal Court District of the Circuit Court of Cook
County requests the authority to accept the sum of $20.00 plus $10.00 cost for
settlement of parking and vehicle citations that have gone to judgement after
adjucication.
NOW, THEREFORE , BE IT RESOLVED by the President and Board of Trustees
of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage, State of
Illinois:
Section 1 . That the Chief Clerk of the Circuit Court of the Third District
is authorized to accept the sum of $20,00 plus $10.00 cost for
settlement of parking and vehicle license citations that have
gone to judgement.
Section 2. That the Village Clerk is hereby directed to transmit a
certified copy of this resolution to Phil Catania, Chief Clerk
of the Circuit Court, Third District.
Section 3. That this resolution shall be in full force and effect from and
after its passage and approval according to law.
