A RESOLUTION ADOPTING AN AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE ELK GROVE ESTATES TOWNHOUSE
ASSOCIATION NO. II , AND THE VILLAGE OF ELK GROVE VILLAGE RELATING TO
SNOWPLOWING

of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Cownties of Cook and DuPage, State
of Illinois:
Section 1. That the Village President be and is hereby authorized to
sign the attached documents marked "Agreement"
a copy of which is attached hereto and made a part
hereof as if fully set forth and the Village Clerk is authorized to
attest said documents upon the signature of the Village President.
Section 2. That this resolution shall be in full force and effect

' AGREEMENT
WHEREAS , the Elk Grove Estates Townhouse Association II,
hereinafter referred to as "T. ASSN. II" , is the owner of the streets
located in the Village, to wit: Bordeaux, Versailles , Dauphine Court, .
and Burgundy Court, together with all public improvements and
utilities located on, under or above said streets , and is responsible
for the repair and maintenance; and
WHEREAS, the VILLAGE OF ELK GROVE VILLAGE, hereinafter referred to
as the "VILLAGE" , and T. ASSN. II is currently negotiating an agreement
to provide for the dedication of said streets and the payment to the
VILLAGE of an amount equal to the cost of necessary improvements and
repairs; and
WHEREAS , T. ASSN. II is desirous of having the VILLAGE render
snowplowing services prior to actual acceptance of the plat of dedication.
IT IS HEREBY AGREED by and between the parties , as follows :
1) . Prior to the acceptance of the plat of dedication and
necessary payment to the VILLAGE, the VILLAGE agrees to perform
snowplowing services at such time as there is a two (2") inch or
greater snowfall to the four (4) streets, excluding therefrom snowplowing
to parking areas , sidewalks , and carriage walks, and the T. ASSN. II
agrees to pay the VILLAGE the following amounts for such services :
(A) . Eighteen ($18 . 00) Dollars per man, per truck,
for regular time;
(B) . Twenty Two ($22. 00) Dollars per man, per truck,
for overtime.
(C) . Twenty Five and 35/100 ($25 . 35) Dollars, per
man, per truck, for Holidays; and
(D) . Salt, if needed, at the rate of Twelve ($12 . 00)
Dollars per ton.
2) . The T. ASSN. II agrees to hold the VILLAGE harmless from
any and all damages to streets and private property during the interim
period in which the VILLAGE is rendering snowplowing services at a
contracted rate.
3) . Once the streets are accepted by the VILLAGE, the VILLAGE
will be responsible for the repair and maintenance of same at no cost
to T. ASSN Ii.
