A RESOLUTION DESIGNATING FIRE CHIEF JOHN E. HENRICI AS THE PERSON
RESPONSIBLE FOR ACCEPTING FEDERAL SURPLUS PROPERTY FOR CIVIL DEFENSE
PURPOSES FOR THE VILLAGE OF ELK GROVE VILLAGE
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the President and Board of Trustees
of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage, State of
Illinois:
Section 1. That the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of

Elk Grove Village do hereby designate Fire Chief John E. Henrici, who
is the ESDA Coordinator, as the person responsible for accepting Federal
Surplus Property, for the Village of Elk Grove Village, with the power
and full authority to sign for such surplus property.
Section 2. That the ESDA Coordinator above named is to be held responsible
for the accountability and will maintain the necessary records for all
surplus property obtained for Civil Defense purposes until relieved from
accountability by State and/or Federal Civil Defense authorities.
Section 3• That money is available to pay service charges for surplus
property obtained.
Section 4. That the ESDA Coordinator is further hereby authorized to
direct payment of charges for surplus property to complete all transactions.
Section 5. That this resolution shall be in full force and effect from
and after its passage and approval according to law.
PASSED this 13th day of July 1976.
