A RESOLUTION HONORING THE ELn GROVE HIGH SCHOOL GYMNASTICS TEAM
WHEREAS, the ELK GROVE HIGH SCHOOL GYMNASTICS TEAM has distin-
guished itself by becoming the 1972-73 Co -Champions of the Mid -suburban
Conference; and
WHEREAS, the Gymnastics Tc.am further distinguished itself by
winning Second Place in the Illinois State Cynnastics Tournament; and
WHEREAS, the Grenadiers provided their fans with an excellent
season highlighted by fine coaching and exceptional individual effort
by its Gymnastics Team members; and
WHEREAS, Principal Robart Haskell, Athletic Director Robert
Tipsword, Hexad Varsity Coach fi=red Gaines, Assistant Coach Niehael Rendino

WHEREAS, the Co -Championship and high standing in the Stste
Tournament were won as a result of the overall determination, self-
sacrifice and dedication displayed by the above mentioned coaches and
players;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the President and Coard of
Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage,
Illinois, as follows:
SECTION 1: That: the Elk Grove high School Grenadiers G;•cnostics

Place in the Illinois State Tournament.
SECTION 2: That this resolution shall be in full force and
