A RESOLUTION AMENDING SECTION 4.3H, RESERVE DUTY, OF THE
PERSONNEL RULES AND REGULATIONS OF THE VILLAGE OF ELK GROVE
VILLAGE
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Board of Trustees of
the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage, Illinois:
Section 1. That the Mayor and Board of Trustees do hereby authorize
amendments to the Personnel Rules and Regulations of the Village of Elk Grove
Village, a copy of the amendments are attached hereto and made a part hereof as if
fully set forth.
Section 2. That this Resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after its
passage and approval according to law.
VOTE. AYES: 6 NAYS: 0 ABSENT. 0

ResReserveDulyRule
RESERVE DUTY
Any full time employee, other than an independent contractor, who is a member of any
reserve component of the United States Armed Forces or of any reserve component of the
Illinois State Militia, shall be granted leave with full compensation(less any Military
Pay) and with full accrual of benefits and seniority from his or her public employment for
any period actively spent in military service, including:
(1) call to active duty;
(2) basic training;
(3) special or advanced training, whether or not within the State, and whether or
not voluntary; and
(4) annual training.
The employee must provide the Village with a copy of their orders upon receipt.
The employee must complete all necessary authorization forms prior to taking such leave.
