HomeMy WebLinkAboutRESOLUTION - 33-71 - 4/27/1971 - ENDORSE SENATE BILL 722RESOLUTION NO. 33-71 RESOLUTION ENDORSING SENATE BILL #722 WHEREAS, the Honorable John Graham of the State of Illinois Senate has introduced in said body a bill providing that the Third Tuesday in April, the Tuesday next after the first Monday in November, and the day of a regular primary election as the only dates on which electionsmay be held, except when another date is specifically required, said bill having been designated as Senate Bill #722; and WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village believe the provisions of said Bill would be of benefit to the people of the State of Illinois, and more particularly, the residents of the Village of Elk Grove Village; NOW, THEREFOREv BE IT RESOLVED, by the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, as follows: 1. That the bill designated as Senate Bill #722, introduced by the Honorable John Graham of the Illinois Senate, be and the same is hereby endorsed by the President and Board of Trustees of the Vilbge of Elk Grove Village. 2. That this resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and approval, according to law.
