A RESOLUTION HONORING THE ELK GROVE HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL TEAM
WHEREAS, the ELK GROVE HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL TEAM have distinguished
themselves by becoming the 1971 Mid-Suburban League Football Champions; and
WHEREAS, Principal , Robert Haskell , Athletic Director, Robert Tipsword,
Head Varsity Coach, Don Schnake, Assistant Coaches, Brendan Flynn and Britton
Farroh, and Managers, Rocky Gilmore and Tom Finley and the following team
members:

WHEREAS, the Championship was won as a result of the overall determination,
self sacrifice and dedication displayed by the above mentioned coaches and
players;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the President and Board of Trustees of
the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage, Illinois, as
follows:
Section l : That the Elk Grove High School Grenadiers are hereby commended
for the honor they have bestowed upon the Village and High School by winning the
Mid-Suburban League Football Championship.
Section 2: That this resolution shall be in full force and effect from and
after its passage and approval , according to law.
