A RESOLUTION COMMENDING VINCENT B. LAWRENCE FOR RECEIVING THE AWARD AS
"BARBER OF THE YEAR- 197211.
WHEREAS , Vincent B. Lawrence has distinguished himself by receiving the
award as "Barber of the Year 1972" in a competition sponsored by the Men' s
Hair Stylists and Barbers Journal ; and
WHEREAS, Vincent B. Lawrence has consistenly performed his services
at a high professional standard; and
WHEREAS, Vincent B . Lawrence has actively engaged in civic and social
events in the Village of Elk Grove Village; and
WHEREAS, Vincent B. Lawrence has, since 1958 operated a Barber and Hair
Styling Shop adjacent to the Village and is now operating a new and modern
facility at 567 Landmeier Road, and has been a resident of the Village since
1958.
NOW, THEREFORE , BE IT RESOLVED by the President and Board of Trustees of
the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage, State of Illinois:
Section l : That Vincent B. Lawrence is hereby commended for his sustained
service to the Village of Elk Grove Village as evidenced by the "Barber of the
Year, 1972 " award presented to him.
Section 2: That this resolution shall be in Rill force and effect from
and after its passage and approval according to law.
