A RESOLUTION OF COMMENDATION FOR THE REVEREND J. WARD MORRISON
WHEREAS, it should be acknowledged that the Village of Elk Grove
Village wishes to express its appreciation to the Reverend J. Ward
Morrison for outstanding services rendered to the common welfare of
residents of Elk Grove Village and its immediate environs; and
WHEREAS, the Reverend J. Ward Morrison has been Pastor of the
Queen of the Rosary Parish for a period covering the past ten and one-
half (lOt) years, and has enriched the spiritual lives of the people
of this Community, both parishoners and non-parishoners; and
WHEREAS, through his guidance he has established moral values;
and through his capacity for human compassion, he has taken the
initiative and has given mu_h to the poor and underprivileged, both in
terms of monetary contributions and in terms of friendship and under-
standing which are so vital to us all, but are of especial value to
the poor and needy; and
WHEREAS, it is both fitting and proper that the Reverend J. Ward
Morrison be recognized for these very special contributions.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the President and Board of
Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and
DuPage, Illinois:
Section 1. That the Reverend J. Ward Morrison is hereby commended fur
his services which have played such a vital and important
role in the lives of the people of this Community.
Section 2. That, on behalf of the Village of Elk Grove Village, we
hereby extend to him our sincerest wishes for the health
and happiness which he so richly deserves.
Section 3. That this resolution shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage and approval according to law.
