OF THE VILLACE Ol' ELK GROVE' V111AGE
WHEREAS, it is to the mutual advantage of the residents of the Village and
its paid --on-call firemen that adequate provision be made for the compensation
of the paid -on-call firemen,
NOW, ThE£,EFOIS, DE IT RESOLVED by the President and board of Trustees of
the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage, Illinois:
Section 1. Paid -on-call firemen shall be paid according to the following
schedule, per call, unless more than one call, or combination of calls,
occurs prior to the securing of a current call., in which event the first
call shall be paid for as stated and addi-tional calls shall be paid for
after the first hour at the rate as set forth below per hour. (Time
shall be computed to the neErest 1/4 hour.)
Computation of Service Credit
Paid Service on Elk Grove Fire Department - Full Credit
Volunteer Service on Elk Grove Fire Department - 1/2 Credit
Paid Service on any Other Paid Department - 1/2 Credit
Section 2. Paid -on-call firemen who are on special details or on
stand-by shall be paid at their individual rate per hour unless the
payment provisions on a per call basis as set forth in the above
paragraph shall produce a greater amount in which case the greater
amount shall be paid.
Section 3. All paid -on-call firemen who have work losses shall be
compensated on the basis of $50.00 per. day.
Section 4. Paid -on-call firemen shall receive $5.00 per training session.
Section 5. The Village will pay all insurance premiums heretofore paid
by paid -on-call firemen in connection with their service as such.
