WHEREAS� the Illinois Law Enforcement Comaission is prepared to award a
grant to Lutheran Welfare Services of Illinois which has applied to said
Cormnission in the amount of *8,792.00 for the undertaking of a project
entitled, Edison Park Home AdolescEnt Study, amd,
WJIERFAS, the President and Board of' Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove
Village has determined this grant is being undertaken in behalf of said
Village and others,
1101,7� TID-MEFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the President and Board �f Trustees
of the Village of Elk Grove Village does hereby waive its rigat to receive
a $8,792.00 grant for sitnilar purposes as set forth above, and agrees to act
as coapplicant for said application, and,
1E IT FURTIMR RESOLVED, that the awarding of this grant to Lutheran Welfare
Services of Illinois does not Teduce in any way the funds available to said
city (or County) that might be awarded for other programs upon application to
the Illinois Law Enforcenent Commission for action grant progtams.
This resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage
and approval according to law.
