COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS, COOK COUNTY BOARD OF APPEALS AND THE COUNTY CLERK FOR TRANSMITTAL TO THE COOK COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS, PROTESTING THE GRANTING OF SPECIAL USE FOR TRAILER PURPOSES ON PREMISES EAST OF ELMHURST ROAD AND SOUTH OF HIGGINS ROAD, DOCKET N0, 1807 ZA SU-70-15. WHEREAS, the LaSalle National Bank as Trustee under Trust No. 36169, and Mr. and Mrs. Lippke, are the owners of property legally described as follows: That part of the West one-half (2) of the Northwest one-quarter (4.) of Section 36 Town- ship 41 North, Range 11 East of the Third Princi- pal Meridian, in Cook County, Illinois: and, WHEREAS, the owners desire that a special use be granted them to permit five (5) trailers to be located on their property so that watch service may be provided S & H Motor Sales against vandalism; and, WHEREAS, the Village of Elk Grove Village is within one and one-half miles of subject property, and has adopted a Comprehensive Plan, as provided by statute, which Plan provides against the location of trailers, as proposed; and WHEREAS, the Village has entered into agreements with the adjoining property to the west, requiring them to terminate certain trailer operations as a condition to sewer operations with the anticipation of eliminating trailers in the area in question, so as to prevent blight and slums; and WHEREAS, the Village authorities believe that if S & H Motor Sales require watch service, they should pay professionally for that service through established agencies, NOW, THEREFORE , BE IT ORDAINED, by the President and the Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage, Illinois: Section 1 : The Village of Elk Grove Village does hereby register objection to the Petitioners' request for any change in zoning which will permit any of the premises described to be used for trailers for whatever reason given, since it believes same to result in blight and poor living conditions for persons and that said area is not suitable for said use. Section 2: This resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and approval according to law. Section 3: The Village Clerk is hereby directed to submit the foregoing resolution to all governmental bodies having juris- diction and an interest in the development of the premises as set forth above and as set forth in the caption thereto.
