O.-362-
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE FACSIMILE SIGNATURE
OF VILLAGE TREASURER
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED By the President and Board of
Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook
and DuPage, State of Illinois as follows:
Section 1. The Bank of Elk Grove,Village of Elk Grove Village,
Illinois is designated as the depository of the Village of Elk
Grove Village, for its general account and such accounts as pre-
viously designated and is hereby requested, authorized and directed
to pay and charge, to the Village of Elk Grove Village, all checks
or orders for payment of money sent in the name of the Village of
Elk Grove Village as to said account, when bearing the actual -sign-
ature of the Village Treasurer and the purported facsimile signature
of any one of the following:
A
Village Manager
Village President
Village Clerk
Charles A. Willis
Jack D. Pahl
Eleanor G. Turner
or when bearing the facsimile signature of the Village Treasurer
and the actual signature of one or more of the following:
Village Manager
Village President
Village Clerk
Charles A. Willis
Jack D. Pahl
Eleanor G. Turner
provided, however, that in the last instance, said check or
authorization not exceed $1,000.00 and pertain to I.M.R.F., Income
Tax, interfund transfers, Police and Fire pension, insurance, and
utility bills only. whether or not said checks are payable to,
endorsed or negotiated by, or deposited to the individual'credit'
of any of said persons, and said Bank of Elk Grove Village shall
be entitled to honor, pay and charge the Village of Elk Grove
Village for all such checks or other orders for the payment of
money irrespective of by whom or by what means the purported
or actual facsimile signatures thereon may have been affixed thereto
if such signatures resemble the facsimile specimens duly certified
to or filed with said Bank unless otherwise specified.
Section 2: That the Village Clerk of the Village of
Elk Grove Village is hereby authorized to certify to said Bank a
copy of these resolutions and specimens of said facsimile signatures
and said Bank is hereby authorized to rely upon such certificate
until it is formally advised by a subsequent certificate in writing under
the corporate seal of the Village of Elk Grove Village of any changes
or alterations therein.
Section 3: That the aforementioned authority shall apply to
an account to be established and }mown as "The General Account" and
such accounts as previously designated.
Section 4: This resolution shall in no way subtract from or
alter the force and effect given in previous resolutions directed
to the Bank of Elk Grove but shall grant further authority and be
in full force and effect from and after its passage and approval
according to law.
