A RESOLUTION CANVASSING THE VOTES AT THE REGULAR ELECTION OF
VILLAGE OFFICIALS HELD APRIL 15, 1969 AND DECLARING THE RESULTS
THEREOF
WHEREAS, a regular election was held in and for the Village of Elk
Grove Village, Counties of Cook. and DuPage, Illinois on Tuesday,
April 15, 1969 for the purpose of electing a Village President
(4 year term), three Village Trustees (each for a 4 year term),
a Village Clerk (4 year term), and three Library Directors (each
f :,r a term of 6 years) ; and
W-EREAS, the President and Board of Trustees have canvassed the
votes cast at said election and are ready to report.;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the President and Board of
Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Cook and DuPage
Counties, Illinois, as follows:
Section 1. That said election was duly held as provided by law.
Section 2. That 3171 votes were cast for Village President in
the following manner:
Jack D. Pahl 1442 votes
Robert F. Fleming 1007 votes
Eugene V. Keith 722 votes
That the following votes were cast for the office of Village
Trustee:
Charles J. Zettek, Jr.
2112
votes
George C. Coney
2067
votes
Andrew T. Ullmann
1909
votes
Alvin Krasnow
1731
votes
Section 2A. That the following votes were cast for the office
of Village Clerk:
Eleanor G. Turner 2909 votes
Section 3. That the following votes were cast for the office
of Library Director:
Darlene J. Greaves 2469 votes
John Gayer 2151 votes
Frederick J. Klink 1933 votes
Section 4. That Jack D. Pahl. received the highest number of
votes for the office of Village President and he is hereby
declared elected to the office of Village President of Elk Grove
Village for a term of four (S) years.
Section 55. That George C. Coney, Charles J. Zettek, Jr. and
Andrew T. Ullmann receives the highest number of votes for rhe
office of Village Trustee and they are hereby declared elected to
the office of Village Trustee of the Village of Elk Grove Village
for a term of four (4) years each.
Section 5A.
That Eleanor G. Turner received the highest number of
votes for the office of Village Clerk and she is hereby declared
elected to the office of Village Clerk of the Village of Elk Grove
Village for a term of four (4) years.
Section 6. That Darlene :% Greaves, John Gayer and Frederick J.
Klink received the highest. number of votes for the office of Library
Director and they are hereby declared elected to the office of
Library Director of the Village of Elk Grove Village, each for a
term of six (6) years.
ction 7. That this Resolution shall be in full force and effect
from and after its adoption and approval according to law.
