WHEKEAS, it is to the mutual ac-aanCane of the residents of the Village and
its paid -on -cell fi.re.acn that vduquaQ provision be made for the compensation
of the ?aid -on-call. firemen.
NOW, THEREFORE, EE IT 1:1?SOLPisD by Che. President and Board of Trustees of
the Village of. Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DaPage, Illinois:
Section 1. Paid -on-call fireman shall be paid $4.40 per call- unless more
than one call, or combination of calls, occurs prior to the securing of a
current call, in which event the first call shall be paid for at $4.40 and
additional calls shall be paid for after the first hour at: the rate of $4.40
per hour, (Time shall be computed to the nearest 1/4 hour.)
Section 2. Paid -on-call firemen who are on special details or on stand-by
0all be paid at the rate of $2.62 per hour unless the payment: provisions
of a per call basis as set: forth in the above paragraph shall produce a
Mater amount in which case the greater amount shall be paid.
S chon 3. All paid --on-call fireman Wo have work losses shall be compen-
sated on the basis of $14.10 per day.
Section 4. Paid --on-call firemen shall receive $5.50 per training session.
Section 5. The Village will pay all insurance premiums heretcfore paid by
paid -on --call. firemen in connection with their service as suc9,
Section 6. All questions of interpretation and application of this
resolution shall be determined by the Fire Chief of the Vi.11ale.
Section 7. This resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after
its passage and approval and be effective as of the — 1st day of. i<ay -_
1969.
