A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE TRANSFERENCE
OF A PORTION OF THE LA4DMEIER ROAD - TONNE
ROAD SITE TO THE ELY. GROVE L'iL:GE PARK
DISTRICT
WHEREAS, the Elk Grove Park District was organized for establishing
and developing new parks; and
WHEREAS, the Village of Elk Grove Village is the present owner of
a site of land fronting on Landmeier. Road at the intersection of
Tonne Road in the Village of Elk Grove Village and devotes a
portion of this property for a Fire and Police Station; and
WHEREAS, the Village of Elk Grove Village has no further use for
portion of the above described property, which portion is described
in detail below; and
WHEREAS, the Elk Grove Park District has heretofore passed an
Ordinance declaring a public need for said portion of property
for the purpose of develop:.ng said property into a park; and
WHEREAS, the President and the Board of Trustees of the Village of
Elk Grove Village deem it to be in the best interest of the Village
pursuant to Statutory a-.thority made and provided, to transfer title
to the hereinafter described property to the Elk Grove Park District.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the President and Board of Trustees
of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and Du Page,
Illinois:
Sectionl. President and Village Clerk of the Village of Elk Grove
Village for an on behalf of the Village of Elk Grove Village, be and
are hereby authorized and directed to transfer ownership of the following
described real estate to the Elk Grove Park District by Quit Claim
Deed for the sum of One ($:_.00) Dollars, subject to restrictions and
conditions of record,.' real estate taxes, if any.
That part of the following described tract of land lying North-
easterly of a line drawn from a point on the East line thereof
270.00 feet South of the Northeast corner to a point on the
Northwesterly line thereof 295.00 feet Southwesterly of the
Northeast corner thereof, said tract being described as: That part
of the West Half of the Southwest Quarter of the Northwest Quarter
of Section 27, Township 41 North, Range 11, East of the Third
Principal Meridian, lying West of the West line of the East 167.33
feet of said West half of the Southwest Quarter of the Northwest
Quarter of said Section_ 27 and lying North of the Center line of
Landmeier Road and lying South and East of the following described
lines: Beginning at a point in the East line of said West half of
the Southwest quarter of the Northwest quarter which is 436.98
feet south of the Northeast corner thereof; thence Southwesterly
along a line drawn from said pmint to a point in the East line

line of the West 105 feet of said West half of the Southwest
quarter of the Northwest Quarter which. is 970.32 feet South
of the North Line of said West half of the Southwest quarter
of the Northwest Quarter and 194.34 feet North of the inter-
section of said East line of the West 105 feet and the Center
line of said Landmeier Road, a distance of 780.70 feet; thence
South along a line 105 feet East of and parallel to the West
line of said West half of the Southwest Quarter of the Northwest
quarter, a distance of 194.34 feet to the center line of
Landmeier Road, situated in the County of Cook, in the State
of Illinois.
Section 2. This resolution shall be in full force and effect from
and after its passage and approval according to law.
