WHEREAS, the Elk Grove High School Kiwanis Key Club is sponsoring
the building of a school in the Philippines in conjunction with the Peace
Corps, and
WHEREAS, the Elk Grove High School Kiwanis Key Club is soliciting
Village organizations for financial aid, and
WHEREAS, the school will be built in the name of Elk Grove Village,
Illinois.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the President and Board of Trustees
of the Village of Elk Grove Village that the President and Trustees, recog-
nizing the worthiness of helping an underdeveloped and underprivileged
community in the Philippine Islands, hereby offer their wholehearted
support and thoroughly encourage financial support from Village civic
organizations.
