A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING STREETS FSZMN NAMED AND AS SHOWN ON A PLAT
OF SUBDIVISION DESIGNATED AS ELK GEM VILLAGE SECTION 14.
1OW9 ^iS:£RS,'ORE, 38 IT RESOLVED by the President and Board of Trustees
of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and Dupage, i2li:mis:
Section 1. That the Village oil Elk Grove ViL'nSe does hereby accept the
following streets as set forth in a plat of subdivision which
has heretofore been approved and designated as Elk Grove Village
Section 14s Dover Lane, Dorchester Lane, Trowbridge Road fres
a point 110.0 feet east of Dorchester Lane t4 its intersection.
with Berkenshire Lime, Brighton Road, BerkensFhire Lane from
Devon Avenue to the south side of Wellington Avenue, as well as
storm sewers, curb and gutter, street pavement, and sidewalks
constructed or installed on said streets, said acceptance being
conditioned upon the following:
1. A maintenance: bond from the developer in the amount of
$159000.00 to a-%Tdre May 1, 1970.
2. provided that conatruction traffic or heavy truck traffic
to new home construction will not use above streets.
3• The procedure of repairs or reconstruction of the above
streets covered in the bond shall be approved by the
Village Engineer before any work is done.
4. There shall be 24 hours notice to the Village Manager by
the developer before the actual repair or reconstruction
of &zW of the above streets is undertakenf Failure to do
so will make any repairs or reconstruction to these streets
unacceptable by the Village and will extend the liability of
the developer of these streets until the Village Engineer
recommends their acceptance.
5. All mud and debris be removed from the above streets being
approved.
o. That all utility struc-%=s in the area being approved be
cleaned.
7. A letter from the developer agreeing to the foregoing
conditions of acceptance of the streets named in this
resolution.
Section 2. This resolution shall be in fall.force and effect from and after
its passage and approval according to lay.
PASSED and APPROVED this 12th day of March, 1968.
