A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE TRANSFERENCE OF A PUBLIC CROSS
WALK TO THE ELK GROVE PARK DISTRICT
WHEREAS, the Elk Grove Park District was organized for the
purpose of improving, developin(, d maintaining existing
parks as well as establishing new ._i.'- a; and
WHEREAS, the Village of Elk Grove Viliac,^ is the present
owner of a dedicated cross walk betweer. 2620 and 26:x"
in Elk Grove Village Section 8, giving 4 :_'>ss to Muir Pa'
but has determined that it is to the l_)es` 'n_erest of the
Village and its residents that same be `-, s,isferred to the
Elk Grove Park District so that henceforth the Elk Grove Park
District may maintain same„ and
WHEREAS, the Village of Elk: Grove Village has heretofore
transferred Village owned park lands, including said Muir
Park, to the Elk Grove Park District, and
,WHEREAS, the Elk Grove Park. District has heretofore passed
an ordinance declaring a public need for the said cross
walk and requesting transference of title of same to the
Elk Grove Park District in accordance with the Statutes
of the State of illir, r ='.: ai`d provided;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Presidei. "and Bo•.."d
of Trustees of the Village of Elk GMve Village, Count..:,
of Cook and DuPage, Illinois: °
Section 1. That the President. and Village Clerk of the
Village of Elk Grove Village, for and on behalf of the
Village of Elk Grove Village, be and are hereby authorized
and directed to transfer ownership of the following legally
described real estate to the Elk Grove Park District for
the sum of One Dollar ($1.00) subject to restrictions and
conditions of record, real estate taxes, if any: A dedi-
cated public cross walk fifty (50) feet by one hundred
ten (110) feet lying between Lots 2620 and 2621 in Elk
Grove Village Section 8 being a subdivision in the south
half of Section 33, Towarthi.p 41 )r;h, Range 11, East
of the Third Princippl r a:_,0J.a ", in Cook County, Illinois,
Recorded as Document No. 17-694-090 in the Office of the
Recorder of Deeds of Cook County, Illinois on October 23,
1959.
Section 2. This Resolution shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage and approval according to law.
