A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING QUIT CLAIM DEED TO
STATE OF ILLINOIS FOR THE USE OF THE DEPARTMENT
OF PUBLIC WORKS AND BUILDINGS
WHEREAS, the State of Illinois, through its Department
of Public Works and Buildings deems it necessary and appropriate
to improve certain public streets which have heretofore been
under the jurisdiction of the Village of Elk Grove Village, and
WHEREAS, the Village of Elk Grove Village, corporate
authority, believe it to be to the best interest of its citizens
and taxpayers that any and all interest it may have in and to
the hereinafter described real estate be conveyed to the State
of Illinois, Department of Public Works and Buildings so that
said improvement shall occur,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the President and
Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties
of Cook and DuPage, Illinois :
Section 1 : That the President and Village Clerk are
hereby authorized and directed to sign and attest a Quit Claim
Deed from the Village of Elk Grove Village, a municipal cor-
poration, to the State of Illinois, for use of the Public Works
and Buildings Department, said property legally described as
follows :
LEGAL
The North 20 feet of the West 110 feet of the East
553.10 .feet of Lot 19 in Centex Industrial Park
Unit 4 being a subdivision in Section 35, Township
41 North Range 1.1 East of the Third Principal
Meridian, according to Plat of said Centex Industrial
Park Unit 4, registered in the office of the Registrar
of. Titles of Cook County, Illinois on November 2 , 1959,
as Document Number 1894159.
for their use and benefit forever for and in consideration of
the sum of One Dollar ($1. 00) , receipt of which is acknowledged
by the Village.
Section 2 : President and Village Clerk are authorized

and directed to do any and all things necessary to accomplish
the foregoing transference of interest of the Village to the
State of Illinois, Department: of Public Works and Buildings .
Section 3 : This Resolution shall be in full force
and effect from and after its passage and approval according
to law,
