VILLAGE, ILLINOIS, OE' BEI::.; GOOK?' " MISS ELK GROVE HIGH SCHOOL JUPIIOR
MISS FOR 1969.
WHEREAS, the Village of Elk Grove Village hereby honors Miss
Barbara Darge, 51 Grange Road, Elk Crave Village for having been chosen
to represent Elk Grove i{i�fn School as Junior i•'iss for 1969, and
WHEREAS, Miss Darge is one of twenty eight finalists from which
the State of Illinois Junior Miss for 1969 will be selected in competition
at Niles, Illinois, later this month, and
WHEREAS, competition for the State of Illinois Junior Miss
Title began with over 9,000 girls entered.
NOW, ThEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Village President and
Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village does, hereby, cor^mend
Miss Barbara Darge for her display of talent and poise which has earned her
the title of Elk Grove High School. Junior Miss for 1969, which talent and
poise has further placed her as one of the twenty eight finalists in the
competition for the title of Miss Illinois Junior Miss, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the President and Board of Trustees
of the Village of Elft Grove Village does hereby extend to Miss Darge their
sincere best wishes for success in future com_iDetition for the title of
Miss Illinois Junior Nass for 1969.
