Illinois, did heretofore, on Novend)er 12, 1968, adopt Ordinance
No. 578, for the submission to the legal voters of said Village,
at a special election called and held in and for said Village on
the 14th day of December, 1968, the following questions:
and,
"Shall bonds in the amount of $1,320,000.00 be
issued by the Village of Elk Grove Village, Cook
and Du Page Counties, Illinois, for the purpose
of paying the cost of constructing three municipal
buildings in and for said V=_11age on the property
now owned by said Village and located on Biester£ield
Road just each of Wellington Avenue, one building to
be a fire station, one to be a combination police
station and administration building, and one to be a
municipal hall to provide meeting rooms for the
President and Board of Trustees, Village officials
and other municipal purposes, bearing interest at
the rate of not to exceed six per cent (6%) per
annum?"
"Shall bonds in the amount of $290,000.00 be issued
by the Village of Elk Grove Village, Cook and Du Page
Counties, Illinois, for the purpose of paying the cost
of building and equipping two ad<',itional fire stations
in and for said Village, one to be constructed on
property owned by the Village on Greenleaf Avenue
approximately 200 feel_ east of Route 83, and one to
be constructed on property to be acquired by the Village
near the intersection of Route 53 and Nerge Road, bearing
interest at the rate of not to exceed six per cent (6%)
per annum?"
"Shall bonds in the amount of $150,000.00 be issued by
the Village of Elk Grove Village, Cook and Du Page
Counties, Illinois, for the purpose of constructing an
addition to the munic:Lpal garage for the storage and
maintenance of vehicles and equipment of the Village,
said addition to be constructed on the property now owned
by said Village on Landmeier Road and being the site of
existing municipal buildings, and making necessary im-
provements to said existing buildings, bearing interest
at the rate of not to exceed six per cent (6%) per annum?"

papers in and having general circulation within said Village, which
notice as so published, did specify the places where such election
was to be held, the time of oper..ing and closing of the polls, and
the questions to be voted upon, copy of said notice with an affidavit
of publication attached thereto, being now on file and a part of the
official records of the President and Board of Trustees of this
Village and being in words and figures as follows:

WHEREAS said election was duly and legally held and con-
ducted by proper persons so appointed to act as judges for said
special election and the questions submitted at said election were
submitted upon proper ballots, said ballots being in words and
figures as follows:

and,
WHEREAS, the election returns have been presented to and
have been canvassed by the President and Board of Trustees of said
Village:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the President and Board
of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook
and Du Page, Illinois as follows:
Section 1: That the total number of votes cast at said
election, as shown on the polls list was,

Wellington Avenue, one building to be a fire station, one to be a com-
bination police station and administration building, and one to be a
municipal hall to provide meeting rooms for the President and Board

Section 5: Itis hereby found, determined and declared of
record that on the question of issuing bonds in the sum of $1,320,000.00
for the purpose of paying the cost of constructing three municipal
buildings in and for said Village on the property now owned by said
Village and located on Biesterfield Raid just east of Wellington Avenue,
one building to be a fire station, one to be a combination police station
and administration building, and one '.o be a municipal hall to provide
meeting rooms for the President and Board of Trustees, Village officials
and other municipal purposes, said question did not receive the approval
of a majority of the electors of said Village voting at said special
election and that said question has not been legally approved and carried.
Section 6: It is hereby found, determined and declared of
record that on the question of issuing bonds in the sum of $290,000,00
for the purpose of paying the cost of building and equipping two additional
fire stations in and for said Village, one to be constructed on property
owned by the Village on Greenleaf Avenue approximately 200 feet east
of Route 83, and one to be constructed on property to be acquired by
the Village near the inter.;ection of Route 53 and Norge Road, it did
receive the approval of a majority of electors of the said Village and
said question has been approved and carried.

Section 8: That all orders or resolutions in conflict
